Maggie, thank you for the copy of your magazine which we just received. We particularly enjoyed the material about the intelligence of AGs, which I do not believe can be overestimated. Our little girl is behaving ok, but continues to engage in a curious attraction-avoidance game with me at certain times--not early in the AM when she continues readily to step up for her morning ritual, but sometimes later in the day when she will crouch down and move her wings up and down and chirp when I am nearby, but retreat when I approach. She does not act this way with Mommy(who is with her most of the day anyway). Then, really late at nite, at or past her bedtime, she will revert to being friendly again, and want to be walked around and socialize. What does this behavior mean, and how should we interpret the wing-movement, as if she is trying to encourage attention?
