buying 2 babies

We are in the process of purchasing 2 babies in late November. They were born 4 days apart and are together now. Maggie said to follow out heart and this is what we want to do. If anyone else has done this what has been your experiences, good or bad. We want the 2 to get along but strongly want them to bond with us and talk.

There is a woman on a discussion group I'm a member of who has 2 clutchmates, one male, one female. They share a very large macaw-sized cage, and, according to what she says, they are very well socialized, they talk, they can be handled, and they finish each other's sentences. (When her teenaged daughter leaves the house, one says "See ya later," and the other says "drive carefully!" One makes kissy noises and the other says "I loooove yoooou!") I think they are under 3 years old.
