Hi Maggie,
Yesterday when i was talking to Leo (he was in his cage) he comes near me and he let me kiss his beak (hope i spell right).
Today he did not wont to be kiss, but he stod very near me when I talk to him, I told him how i miss when we where the best friend, he stod near me and look at me.
Thank you Maggie for being here even if you are so fare away.

Leo understood exactly what you meant.

Please try not to take things personally when bitten. It does happen. With him, it was a territorial issue....but you can get that best friend relationship back.

Now he answer me, he IS TALKING AGAIN, I take it very slowly like you sad....He haddent talking for a time. I am so happy Maggie and i know that Leo is also happy. Dont you think??

I have found a treat bits pistagenut that he loves.....

Paola,

My Sweetpea LOVES pistacchios too! Since they have lots of fat, please don't give Leo any more than 3 or 4 per day. Okay?

Spend lots of time by his cage talking to him. Tickle his head when he bows it for tickles (scritches). Please continue at your slow pace and you'll have him back. The timing will be his choice...just go with what he will allow.
