hello everyone my dear Lilo has really started to make those wing drops and very hard panting noises, he has done them previously but not as bad now.

does anyone have ideas on how to lessen these episodes when he wont just come to you and be happy, he nibbles but doesnt but and wants to mate with my fhumb lol any ideas would be much appreiciated.

Sexual maturity is generally 4-6 years of age so he is just beginning and probably "REALLY" feeling it! The best thing you can do when he gets like that is to change the "subject." Change the activity. Get his mind off of those feelings. Do not allow him to have toys or things like that that encourage sexual feelings. You may want to order our GPR back issue # 010, which focuses on sexual issues with Greys. You can get it at the Grey Place on this site.

Do not allow him to nibble or play with your fingers when he is like that. Come up with another activity he enjoys and help him get out of it. Do not leave chew boxes or anything that seems like a nest box in the cage. Again, that GPR issue would really help you.
