Lost your Bird?
When you go outside, MAKE SURE your bird is in a carrier or on a safe bird leash. Even if they are clipped, they can fly away when they are frightened. A horn... or a limb blowing in the wind can frighten them. Once they fly off, they do NOT know how to return. They are NOT like homing pigeons. It is YOUR responsibility to keep your bird safe and secure.
Even if your bird is on a leash, if you do not have it securely fastened to your body at all times, your bird could still fly away. Leashes are dangerous on lost birds because they can get caught on roof tops or tree limbs, leaving your baby there to be taken as prey. So, be diligent!
If by some horrible chance you have lost your bird, please read the following articles that may help you. Also, PRAY! And send thought-messages to your baby that you are looking for him and her and you will not stop until you can find them. NEVER give up!
